Who’s making big money from bodybuilding

I want to reflect on this a little so if there are some of you thinking about putting all your eggs in one basket…Listen to this it’s important. Am the first to say aim high because I did that and yes I hit the bulls eye but when I think of some other incredible athletes that did not make that much… Why?? Is it because our sport is not mainstream enough for more athletes to earn the big bucks like other sports…?? Bodybuilding is more demanding than most other professional sports out there that are making 10-100 times more money than some of the best built men and woman in the history of mankind. Who am to even say anything about other peoples financial gains and success…?? Am a voice and maybe someone there hears this and makes adjustments accordingly. I know how much it cost to build your body and compete on the very top level of this sport. If you don’t have this to support your goals it is very difficult to maintain yourself and loved ones maybe burning hard earned income on something that doesn’t play out. Sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray. SHAME ON ME IF IF I DONT TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PREACH HAVING A PLAN B IN YOUR GAME PLAN. Make sure you get your education never give up on your career there is little to no loyalty in this sport. The supplement companies, promoters and the federation are making most of the monies. The athletes make this sport and should be getting a much bigger share of this money not just a few fat cats in key positions using this built up wall that they say is a “federation”. What is a Federation? In my mind its a “private club” with someone paying themselves for a very long time more money than the athletes…Common people can’t you see this? Keep your day job enjoy your family and real friends don’t let anyone tell you differently. I wish you all the very best in whatever you strive to do. Dreams do come true but don’t wake up empty handed. God bless.

Still there must be more money in the sport today than 20-30 years ago?

your body’s needs are, and you will be able to select the right “muscle budielr supplement” for you.A good “Muscle budielr supplement” will make you stronger, faster. When you visit your local gym for supplements.” However, it will take you years and years to do this. If you are serious about

The point is that unless you are at the level of Colman or Heath or Cutler you are pretty much screwed if you intend to get a ‘pro’ card….which essentially entitles you to pay tons of travel, hotel, drug, food costs out of your meager purses. The pro card is a joke. Sergio Oliva, Jr. spends his whole life dieting, training, etc., and I doubt his Labrada contract pays him much at all. Not bashing Jr. at all, but there is a reason his dad did NOT approve of trying to follow in the drug infested footsteps of what is not a ‘profession’ at all….just an expensive hobby. Gary tells it like it is. Joe ‘Weirder’ pocketed several hundred million when he cashed out. And Wayne DeMilia could barely make a living being the best promoter around. I got to ask: ‘Would you want your sister to be engaged to a ‘pro’ bodybuilder? I sure the hell wouldn’t.
